Farsley Celtic have resigned from Conference North having been unable to fulfill a fixture for the third time this season and their record has been expunged.

 

That is three teams that have folded mid-season I think (Chester and Kings Lynn) and I cannot remember that happening before. I was joking on Tuesday that if we finish bottom we would need twelve teams to go bust to keep us up but it seems that that is a quarter way there!!!!

 

With some other clubs in trouble it looks like this could be a record year for teams going to the wall.

I know its not necessarily how things will pan out Steve but makes for interesting reading nevertheless. Nothing indicates a reprieve anywhere here but things CAN change we all know that. Clutching at straws again I think we are.
