Admission Fees

I was informed by a supporter (Bob) who travels to from Dartford to watch every home game that MFC have raised senior concessions from 60 to 65 years young. Is this the case as Liam D says its bang out of order without prior notice. ( peter the steward is nearly 60 ! and being trained by a monkey means he will have to go somewhere else on a Saturday afternoon for £6.00)

Seriously should the club have put a notice out informing the elder fans of the age increase

Not wishing to defend the club but it does say on the Official Website Concessions (OAP & full time students ) £6.00.

Now whilst this most blatant form of sex discrimination exists it does unfortunatley mean that Females are OAP's at 60 & Males have to be 65.

However as the new legisatation does come into effect om 5th April this year the age of a Female becoming an OAP is slowly being raised to 65. Therefore, I hope the club uses the DWP guidelines to implement the gradual increase of the age of Female OAP's.

All we want as Males is equality with Females.

Sorry to say folks, but it has never been 60. You have to be 65 to buy a concession ticket (unless you have a student card!) This has been the age limit for as long as I've worked on the turnstiles, but it hasn't been forced or even checked up until now, and it's got to the point where people who are clearly not 65 are getting in by buying a concession ticket when they should be paying for a full ticket. Peter has decided that he wants us all to make sure that people asking for concession tickets are actually 65.

Sorry guys, but rules is rules...
