I have got to laugh at your delusions of grandeur at Margate fc because lets face it, last season you were relegated.

This season you were talking about making the play offs with basically the same team.

You managed to keep the wolves from the door with regards the Inland Revenue.

You having money problems to say the least.

Then you all thought that mark Butler was the best thing since sliced bread, although most of the players were on a contract, so he was limited to what he could do.

Low and behold, the next saviour was Ian O'connell and lets nick as many players off Maidstone as we can attitude.

Where the hell did you suddenly get an extra £1000 a week to pay their wages because thats roughly what it cost to get them to play for Margate and lets face it, they all played for Maidstone who weren't exactly setting the league on fire.

And now you think that you should be flying up the league, I think you are getting your just deserts and after all the crap that you have given Ramshite fans, as you call them, you will be playing them next season and rightly so.

U make a very good point about us having money problems, but now paying stupid wages. It doesn't take much to understand why we have money issues if we spend more than we make !!

As it happens tw@ face I find it quite hard to disagree with the facts you have stated this pretty much sums up the season, all though I can’t believe anyone thought we could get in the playoffs with the squad we had... If the club did not have the stated ambitions, then the supporters would moan - with justification - even more. The club's ambitions are basically to get back to the Conference - so just to achieve what has already been achieved. Seems reasonable to me. No one is expecting that to be achieved tomorrow, but it seems right that we shold be aiming that high. When we were doing well in the Conference, the aim was the Football League. Just beacuse results on the pitch aren't going well right now does not - and should not - detract from grander ambitions. Surely, that's what sport is about.

I for one knew this would backfire and had no delusions like quite a few others, and taking the players Maidstone failed to pay was a big mistake. But you lot whineing is starting to grate, you done the same to us and as soon as we were interested in Danny Hockton Maidstone flashed the cash and jumped in. You got what you deserved!!! just like we are, believe me us suporters that dont wear rose tinted specs could see this coming.

Listen, I can deal with name calling, sticks and stones dear boy and Im big and ugly enough to handle that, ask stubbsy's dad and these same people wouldn't dream of saying it to my face, they are real brave men armed with their keyboards. ( probably spotty faced opinionated students that hardly ever go to a game anyway)

I love a heated debate and a wind up but have no need to insult anyone personally because i don't know you.

Of course I'm disappointed that we lost the 4 players that we did because they are good players.

But just look at where we were with them in our team and thats why they won't make a lot of difference to your team,too little too late.

I thought that this was a debating forum that anyone could debate on, hence the earlier post and lets face it, its not far from the truth.

As for not having any idea about your club, I know enough players and players relatives at your club to know a litle bit more than you do about your club.

If I am honest I would rather be playing you next year in a derby match in the Ryman premier because they are always a bit special and good atmospheres and I may still get my wish in the Ryman south, who knows?

I must admit, he does make a least one good point. Since we have raided Maidstone for a few of their players, I believe - bar the 3-0 home defeat to an in-form Harrow - they have beaten Billericay at home, and achieved a commendable draw at Sutton - keeping two clean sheets in the process. Maybe we've signed the wrong players!!
