WIN OR BUST?

Perhaps our most important game for several years. If ever there was a "relegation six pointer" then this is it. Must win game for us to have any hope of surviving in this league - will give us some confidence going into our heavy March programme. All these new signings are a big financial gamble and our last roll of the dice.

What worries me is who will we have left to play for us next season and it will be in the Ryman sth . THe new guys must be on short term contracts and as for the 12 or so who are on contract what will Iain have left to work with . Plus who wants to come to a club that is in absolute free fall personally i feel for Iain and i can`t see CK coming to us either . Today the club dropped to a very low level and i saw someting that has not happened either and that was the DIE HARD fans that were going before the game had finished . A very sad time indeed .

cant see many of the big guns sticking around next season if relegated. Saunders, Pinnock, the new pretty boy at the back and the keeper will gone faster than they tried to run today. its really a win-win situation for them - come now till end of season on big money, jay picks up his £1000 reward for avoiding relegation (assume similar for Pinnock) and then stay or go in summer. or same but get relegated (no reward) and go to another club having made very nice sum of money for a couple of months work here.

we will be left with youngsters and the players that no other club want.

This will be the real test for Iain. We will be a big club in Ryman South and effectively the manager will start with a clean slate (no contracted players) so will be able to build from scratch with his own team. We will be a big fish in a smal pond so a lot will be expected. But with a good start the crowds will be back and the momentum will build. Conversely if we struggle like Ramsgate?. It does not bear thinking about.
