ETFC v's Thamesmead Town

Recommended Posts

Saturday's game is an interesting one. We play TT who are third and we beat at their place 3-0, they also got tonked 5-1 atome to Maldon last week (whats that all about?) however they won 1-0 on tuesday away to ??????????(i cant remember). They also have one of the top scorers in their frontline, however they are still 3rd and have been top 3-4 for most of this season. We need to be wary of these teams that blow hot and cold and make sure we are solid in our defending and let Byfield, Wallace, Blackburne, Hope and Hammond try and rip their guts out. A home win tomorow and Thursday v's Brentwood and we'll be looking very strong. Add the Staines game on tuesday and Concord next saturday and its time for a real focussed group of players to show their mettle.

It will also need the supporters to do their bit in one of the last 5 home league games we have left, the weathers been great for the last 3 days and forecasts are similar for saturday, so lets all get behind the lads in large numbers for these remaining matches.

Just a thought we have 58 points from 30 games. The same number of points we got all of last season. A great effort by the whole management and team.

Thats a good observation Smeegee, agree totally with you, performances, results and indeed the personnel this season has been the best their ever has been, roll on Thursday and the Brentwood home league game.

A lot of people have said that recently about the forum being slow, but its quick and smooth for me on basic XP/IE8..Maybe at the moment this site isn't as compatible as it should be with the newer Windows 7 (or mobile connection).?

I find it quite easy to get onto the site, but navigating around is a real nightmare, it is slow to respond and not very smooth running :bartshocked:
