I am Spartacus

Recommended Posts

Thanks Luke and I wish you all the success you deserve. I hope that you will in the near future return to the right side of the Island where you have played all your footbal since a young boy.

I will always see you as a Blue and hope you can put those Twezers away now.

I wish Luke all the best and as I have already said to you before Mick, I am sure he will come back to us all the better for his experience with the Rams ;)

You will be able to see Luke play next season jim, when we play you in the ryman south, will you say you still miss him when he rises up at the far post and headers in the winner for the mighty Ramsgate ;)

Once a Blue always a Blue Mick. Being a ram is only a temporary measure.

Won't be missed on the playing side as hasn't really forced his way in and is not good enough at the moment - suppose cud get better and cone back as an superstar and join Curtis in professional league football ( I can't remember who said that but it's funny!)

Your spelling sums up your IQ and general lack of comprehension. (Do not ask me to explain).

In reply to Joseba - Wow this has suddenly become personal has it? I can only apologize for my spelling - trying to type quick and the keypad on my iPhone is not a good mix . Also when I studied and achieved my degree at university I took more care with my typing.

Don't ever try and make me look stupid again because it won't work. U got a problem then come and see me tomorrow . I don't take kindly to people attempting to be clever and make others look foolish as a result . U won't do it to me.

Hi Luke, John McAree here, good luck and I certainly rate you, as a footballer, especially for one that's still so young. Impressed me the very first evening, I saw you play, and the whole ground were asking each other who you were. You impressed TY too. I think you're doing the right thing Pal to get regular football and several of your mates, from last years reserves, are already over there! I for one will come and watch you as I like to watch both sides on the island play.

p.s. if this now frees you up, to be able to play on Sundays, give Phil a ring and come to GEN SPORTS. We'd all love to see you.

You made yourself look stupid mate by replying to him and explaining why you had made spelling mistakes.

You may have a degree, but you cannot be taught common sense.

Not the sharpest tool in the box are we and as for the threatening manner towards Joseba, well.

Good luck Luke,a superb young prospect whom i believe Mark Weatherly nurtered from a boy. With Mark now at Ramsgate, sure is a case of you reap what you sow!So cultivate that seed a bit longer for us Mark, and then some time in the future send the boy back to where he belongs at Margate,a man!!

It seems there is a bit of a gang culture on this forum- And a few

of u have waded in on this disagreement about my spelling!!

I know exactly what Joseba was trying to achieve on his first personal attack on my IQ and spelling. If there's something I hate it's people trying to make other people look stupid- it's very low. By all means disagree with my views but don't try and make fun of me

In my defence I replied firsty to defend myself on what he was making personal for no reason. I felt by explaining the spelling mistakes I would be forgiven for my crime.

Threatening? I didn't intend to be threatening - but just said that if he has a problem then I wud be happy to see him tomorrow and let him explain face to face rather then behind a screen!!

I'm disappointed with the replies of others- not ur argument!!

And I jus don't understand how u Can say we will miss Wheatley when he hasn't played and is not considered first choice. I don't Fancy him as a player that's all - just my opinion!!

Nobody asked for your opinion DOMBLUEBOY , the thread was to wish Luke good luck . If you don't want to do that fine. Maybe you would like to join in to some other debate . I am sure it was not an easy decision for Luke , after all he has played for and represented Margate Football Club impeccably since he was 4 years old , I think that shows great commitment, it's sad the fairytale has come to an end.

However, I am certain he WILL prove you wrong !

Best of luck to MFC

But especially , best of luck to LUKE WHEATLEY

You may have your opinion even if it is slightly inappropriate on this thread.

It is a shame the situation is as it is, ideally YoungLuke should be playing his football out on loan at a good club like Whitstable, developing his skills with a view to first team football in say 2 years. As should Ollie Gray.

With all due respect domboyblue it seems you have a ppersonal vendetta against young luke and Curtis. They may not be the greatest players to grace a Margate shirt but you know they are 2 of the few players that give there all for Margate! It's a shame to see luke go as was it joe Taylor but young players need games and they will be back I'm sure

It's a shame to see the negative comments about Luke (well just from one person). He's progressed right through the ranks and always gave his best. Can't ask for more. He does need games so I hope he gets the first team football he needs over there, but in a couple of years I hope he returns home to Margate.
