I know it's not a Margate issue but just wanted to find out (sure some one knows)...How many teams get promoted from the Kent Prem League? It seems Faversham Town are running away with it but Herne Bay have got 3 games in hand so it will be a close finish and would one/both then go into the Ryman South or as thing are its not as simple as that, ground issues etc!

Just one. Normally the champs but if gound grading not acquired then it can go below that in the table but teams from other feeder leagues in high positions could be given priority if grounds do meet the required standard.

 

I think about 5 Kent League clubs applied for promotion to Ryman. Of the contenders, I understand Herne Bay, Faversham or Hythe would all be OK.

Faversham, Herne Bay, Erith Town and Erith & Belvedere applied to go up. In reality only one team will be accepted into the Ryman League, with Faversham, who look like being champions, the most likely. However, they have been told they need to do more work on their ground by the end of the month so no one may end up being promoted.
