Less than 24hrs 'til the footie starts again. Looking forward to it no end. If I was given to hyperbole I'd be using phrases like "the dawning of a new era" but I'm not, so I won't!

And all the "old" quotes will be out again like...."How can you see that from their ref" - "Come on ref 10 yards" - "Get a grip ref" - "Ref, you really are a joke"......So tonight, which one will be the first to be used of the new season??.....Or will they be saved until the real season starts...??....Who'd be a ref eh!!!

I know what you mean Simon, I have been looking forward to this for sometime now.

 

I would think that we will be treated to quite a few player changes during the game so we'll be able to look at the new crop on talent on show. I'm sure that like last year the game will suffer on quality for this but it has to be done and hey, it is still a only a game.

 

Looking forward also to get into training myself as well. Burgers, beers....banter....Ahhhhhhh at last

Save it til the season starts, that's what I say... Although i have heard that they're going back to the old list of Ryman refs this season, as opposed to the numpties from the wednesday lunchtime league we had last season <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
