Defender joins

It has been obvious for a while that if we lost Butts or Fagan we would be considerably weaker and have no one to replace like for like. This is a very good signing from what I can see. Some very tough games in a crucial part of the season, every point is precious and with Fagan out this is exactly what we needed. This is something we needed even without an immediate injury, he looks like he has some decent experience as well. Almost like Scotty knows what he's doing......

Absolutely agreed, with only five defenders in the squad we were really at minimum. Woozley looks like a very tidy fit for us, not a heavyweight but obviously got the experience (and should be fit, given his line of work). Let's hope he does slot in well, it would be good to have someone with experience of defending at the next level up: and at age 30, if he's good he might stay a few years.
