A report on this one from the another Forum:

 

Spartan South Midland Premier Division.

Biggleswade United 2 Kentish Town 2

adm £4 incl prog

att 22.

 

A very rare midweek new ground outing for me this season and a cracking game

served up at Second Meadow.

Didn't decide to go until after i'd left work and phoned the very helpful club sec(Tracy)

who confirmed it was game on.

 

The ground had been full enclosed in the last year and has a covered stand on one side with

a covered standing area opposite, it won't win any awards but it's functional and more than

adequate.

 

Kentish belied their bottom of the table status having lost their last 9 games as they dominated

the first half and really should have been in front as they had a couple of tricky forwards, but as the norn

the hosts scored first just before the break.

Biggleswade got the secojnd thanks to a rather dubious free-kick that was converted,harsh on Kentish.

 

However, they got a goal back as the no.9 again broke the offside trap to round the 'keeper and slot in,

they now had the ascendancy and it was pleasing that their efforts were rewarded when their no.6 struck

a decent shot in.

 

They went all out for the win and it was real end to end stuff with the hosts missing with the last action.

 

Just a shame that there were a mere 22(incl club officials and the assessor) to witness this one tonight.

 

Very glad to make at home as we managed to get stuck outside Stevenage for 30mins thanks to a

points failure,but the superb HS service rescued the day just in time..
