By car

Leave the M20 at Junction 10, follow the signs for Ashford International Station and Brenzett.

 

This will be Bad Munsterieful Road. Follow this road straight over at the first roundabout (McDonalds drivethru and Travel Inn on your right).

 

At the next roundabout take the first exit for Kingsnorth. At the next roundabout go straight over (Tesco on your left).

 

Follow this road for about twomiles, going through Kingsnorth, passing the cricket club on the left.

 

The Homelands is 300 yards on your left.

 

 

By bus

There is a bus service that runs between Maidstone High Street and Ashford Station, it is the 510.

This service goes via Bearsted, Hollingbourne, Harrietsham, Lenham, Charing Heath, Charing on to Ashford.

 

On Saturdays, there is only one suitable service:

Depart Maidstone High Street 1205 Arrive Ashford Station 1304

 

Unfortunately, the service only runs every two hours.

 

The return service would be:

Depart Ashford Station 1755 Arrive Maidstone High Street 1848

 

Midweek games provide only for a service to Ashford, there is no return service.

Depart Maidstone High Street 1735 Arrive Ashford Station 1834

 

 

 

By train

The nearest station is Ashford International, which is four miles from the stadium.

 

Trains from Maidstone to Ashford are plentiful with a journey time of 22 minutes (fast) or 30 minutes (stopping).

Midweek Trains:

Depart Maidstone East 1738 arrive Ashford International 1807

Depart Maidstone East 1754 arrive Ashford International 1823

Depart Maidstone East 1829 arrive Ashford International 1859

 

Return journeys are as follows:

Depart Ashford International 2208 arrive Maidstone East 2237

That is the last train.

In addition to the above, the new hi-speed link between Stratford International & Ashford International is now operational, with a journey time of about 20mins and a frequency of every half hour. I understand a courtesy bus takes you across the Olympic building site between Stratford mainline station & the new International station. According to Traveline South-east you could leave 'ricay at 6:00pm and be at Ashford International by 7:15 without having to go through London.

 

You've then got a 4 mile hike to Kingsnorth!
