White at Night

I realised this might be a disputable thread but you are piss taking now. ;) (or was that already occuring) :)

We all know "white" makes you look bigger than you actually are so apart from being able to spot your man more easily people/players in white tend to look more intimidating.

Still, it ain't gonna be happening with us tonight, being the home team, but Angels will no doubt now come out in "white" (guaranteed now) & we outplay them to take all 3 points.

My theory then goes right down the drain & you can all laugh your socks off at my expense, yet again.

If we win,no matter what colours we play in I dont give a s***!

Laugh your socks off at me all you want tomorrow ladies & gents, laugh them off! :97: :97: :97: :97:

In fact after tonight I would hope/am insisting that you do!.

3 points is all I care about (in the words of I.O) & no matter how we get them (in the words of I.O) that is all that matters.

For once, just for once (to start with anyway) can we see an in form Margate in front of a decent home crowd (he says with fingers crossed)

COME ON MARGATE Time to knuckle down!!!

I would like to see us play full stop in the white kit, though with royal blue instead of black. Or red and white stripes?

In fairness, Cookie, in the 1950's I believe that some teams wore illuminous kit under floodlights. My understanding is that the Wolves team that defeated Honved amongst others did at any rate. I wouldn't be surprised if the Folkestone kit of the early 1950's, quite a spectacular kit by the day's standards, was also illuminous, so you have really touched on a valid point.

To my mind it wouldn't be a bad idea if teams did wear illuminous kits under floodlight although I am not sure how Margate blue would come out in that.
