Walker's gone :-(

Couldn't believe the last posting with regard to Walker being loaned to Maidstone. Looking back I'm not surprised. At the end of the warm up before the game he looked very comfortable and friendly with the maidstone staff and players. They obviously know what a good goal keeper they are getting. Why hasn't he been starting for the last few games. There have been some rumours of him falling out with a certain person!

 

This is all on the back of the maidstone game where Nichols seemed to be very vocal against his home supporters.

im not surprised andy has gone,i guess its for financial reasons.

 

but i must admit i thought (other than pondinio )he had been our best player this season

 

our goals against maybe proves this!

 

lets hope nichols performs to the same high standards

Walker is on loan and therefore still a Billericay player. He's too good to be warming the bench and this seems a perfectly sensible move. I assume we can call him back at anytime? Paul Nichols may not win any popularity contests at New Lodge, but he is a more than capable keeper who is on a par with Walker.

That is right Ryan. I think it does the club no favours making rumours about people falling out with each other. The sensible move is to get Walker some first team action whilst Nicholls is being utilised...
