I was asked today to post on the Maidstone fans forum regarding Jay,

Certain members and fans of Maidstone Fc have taken it upon thmselves to slate and abuse Jay,

Jay did not leave Maidstone for more money, he left as he wanted to be paid for his services and 7 weeks later he still has not been paid.

Jay has a young family and he needs to provide for them.

Iain O Connell being made manager of Margate had a big influence on him and decided he would be better off at margate but not for more money i must add.

To be fair i have had many views but only a few replies on the Maidstone forum but those who have replied wish Jay all the best and also say "how many people would do a job and not get paid".

I for 1 would also wish Jay all the best along with Iain and the board of Margate

Onwards and upwards.

I`m sure he has a full time job, and plays football as a hobby for which he gets paid for.
