Team for saturday

Just to help Mr IOC along;based on what i know of the current squad;here's my team for saturday.

 

(hints that there may be imminent additions though-in time for saturday ?

 

As we are away on a very tough fixture-i'd have JK in a back 5:

 

Reed ( assumed fit as garrads loan ended)

 

Morris, Young, Keister Haverson Robinson

 

Duncan

 

Saunders Wilson Stubbs

 

Blackman

 

(assume clarke still unfit)

 

subs:anderson,grant,wheatley,beech,cliffe.

 

It will be interesting to see whether Saunders plays right midfield,central midfield or defence.I'd have him in midfield -and if on the off chance we get a lead-put him back into defence if we are winning and JK is tiring.

 

Control the game from midfield,don't concede the nil, and try and sneak a goal from a saunders header at a set piece

Surprised Sam Jones doesnt even make the bench.

Dont think you will get much out of Morris or Wilson, as both injured.

And regards Reed, you did assume wrong.

Emphasis last night mainly was in getting a striker in, a striker that can score goals.Over to you Alan.Any ideas on this one?

Well rumour has it that Maidstone not paid players for 7 weeks. Pinnock is believed to be heading towards Billericay though things could change as we all now in football. I bet Hockton wishes he had come here now

Would be a good addition to the squad Derek but with him still with the champions elect I can't see that one happening.Shame!

i recon hockton playin on that terrible pitch at ashford does not suit him at all get him back on our good pitch and he will start gettin plenty again.nice to see us nickin players from the likes of maidstone arter they nicked our best ones a while ago,a bit of pay back
