Where have these CK the great man rumours sprung from? It would be a dream team. A new young relatively successful manager with the man who's has done and gave us the fantasy realms times here. The buzz alone would be enough to bring an inspirational and new hope.

Only in my head (and a little bit from Cookies Odds List) Hornet but wouldn't it be nice!!

Hornet in recent times I have viewed your posts distainfully as you have chosen to exile yourself from watching MFC, could/would the return of CK perhaps tempt you back to watch the blues again, or have you totally resigned yourself to not believing in the team you once enjoyed watching... prove me wrong and turn up for (hopefully)

our great escape from the dreaded relegation and next season under IOC a maybe/hopefully/pleeeease a chance of promotion. Prove me wrong and Ill buy the first pint.

Point taken DR and perhaps I have been a bit over zealous in some of my posts. My frustration and disappointment at the clubs lowly position spills over sometimes and manifests itself in completely the wrong way. I apologise for certain comments but they were always born out of passion for the club. I always went to watch Watford from a small boy and saw them rise from the fourth division to the first and I moved down to this area just as Kinnear took over and witnessed the rise of MFC and it brought back proper Saturday afternoon football for me. I agree with your philosophy of supporting the club through thick and thin regardless of their position in the league. I'll check the fixture list and will come and add my voice to the relegation dogfight. I'd rather the club be safe but it is actually quite exciting being in a relegation scrap, and now we have the new regime, it brings with it the positivity that it's possible.

on the DOF Piper said that his current club won't let him go until the end of the season but Piper said that he thinks the wait is worth it and he also went onto say something along the lines of it's a shame the other person of the management team couldn't join now, as piper believes that this would have gained some more interest in the club...I can't even begin to think who this mystery person is. Anyone got any ideas ;)

Is the suggestion from KP on the night then that we are awaiting BOTH a director of football AND an assistant/coach for IOC ?

Just the D.O.F. as far as I heard Michael. Can't recall a mention of a future assistant coach though we know at this present time JK is taking on that role.
