Time to move on?

In less than one week now we have our first pre-season game, at Northwood. Is it time for the recriminations and finger pointing to end and for everyone to start looking forward?

It's good that this forum enables people to debate what's currently happening to the club but with the season fast approaching surely now is the time for us to pull together. There will always be disagreements and people will have their individual views but surely the one thing we all want is for Slough Town to have a long and successful future.

Let's put the past behind us and start thinking about what we do from this point forward. The rear view mirror is only a fraction of the size of the windscreen because it's more important to be looking at what's in front of you, not behind. I hope to see everybody at Northwood - they need us now more than ever.

COME ON YOU REBELS.

It will be interesting to see if Martyn Deaner is at Northwood and if he has anyone in tow!!!

Having him in "public" will be an opertunity to find out what is happening or will it be "can't say anything at the momment still in talks"

Take a bucket for the bull sh*t!!!!!

Last season we went to Northwood for a promotion tussle and were humiliated. We go there again on Saturday, this time without a manager, with a squad of 14 including somebody who has officially retired, no goalkeeper (Anthony Howard does not count) and Andrew Deaner as our striking threat. We don't know where we will be playing on 19th August, if anywhere, our Chairman stepped down at the end of last season only he didn't, the fans are bickering amongst themselves.

You know if it wasn't pre-season at Slough I might have been worried!
