..it appears liam hatch has been injured(in barnet friendly against arsenal)and was taken to hospital wearing an oxygen mask.

Just about sums his luck up. He spent more time with us wearing leg supports than football boots!!

If you play like he does then I suppose you'll have to expect it. That's why we loved him..

There weren't any clear cut chances in the first half, the main incident being the dreadful injury to Liam Hatch who fell awkwardly and was stretchered off with a suspected cruciate ligament injury. He was later taken to hospital with an oxygen mask and heavy strapping round his leg. Hatch had been signed just three days previously from Gravesend and looks like being out for a long while.

Whilst on his debut for margate Che Stodhart (sic) missed an easy opportunity when he blasted the ball over the bar against Folkestone.

It sounds like Liam's injury was just one of those unfortunate things - it appears he simply landed awkwardly after jumping for a high ball - the talk on the Barnet board is a period of 5 months or more, out of the game.

Mind you how many times was he seriously injured playing for us only to make a miricle recovery?

Andy has spoken to Liam and he has broken his leg and possibly damaged his ligaments, he will be out for at least five months.

I feel very sorry for Liam, Lets hops that he is able to bounce back fairly quickly once the injury mends.

 

 

Its really bad luck for him, but with his style of play alwasy something that could happen.

It amuses me that Martin Allen thinks Liam is a bit raw , the way he plays I believe he will always be raw , even if the Royal Ballet Company had a go at movement training .
