<img src="/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />So the season is now less than a month away, naturally we don't have the fixtures yet, and when we do they will be done monthly (insert your own comments about the league cos I'm not making any).

But I am going to make my predictions for the league champions (for what its worth)

1. Potters Bar - no not because I know they visit this forum I just think they have the stongest squad

2. Beaconsfield - always the bridesmaid never the bride.

3. Harefield - can't stand the to*sers but there it is.

Outside of these 3 possibly London Colney or Leverstock with an outside chance.

Any thoughts anyone?

Thank you for your comments Manorboy. I think that a League such as ours is always very difficult to predict as there are plenty of player movements and the odd managerial movement as well. On top of that, it only needs one person to make a modest investment and a struggling team can suddenly find themselves challenging for the title.

 

We have kept all bar two of last season's squad and recently added four players from the now defunct Milton Keynes City. I am therefore hopeful that we can maintain the momentum of last season but won't get caught making predictions on our own chances on this forum. What I will say is keep an eye on Greenacres this season.

Having already been mauled by Potters Bar, though we were awful, I must agree and tip them for the title but I also think Hoddesdon and Hanwell will do well.
