Triallists

Two more triallists on display today.

 

Jay Murray - striker, once of Leyton Orient, also Sutton United and Chelmsford City. Looked quite lively.

 

Chris Zoricich - if I've got the right one <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />, was captain of New Zealand, played for Newcastle in Australia, now 34.

 

Anyone else care to comment?

It was a very classy 12 minutes though, you have to admit. Yes, you're right, I probably did mistake Wraighty for Glynn, haven't quite got my new season spotters badge yet, what with all these new haircuts and so on. Still, we all make mistakes...

I know he isnt a trialist as such, but I have been quite impressed with Nic McDonnell so far. He played well on Wednesday and linked well with Mark Graham.

I've discovered he (Zoricich) also played at Clarence Park in 1997 for Chelsea Reserves against Spurs Reserves who included Leon Townley in their ranks.

Chris Zoririch played for us about 10yrs ago and was bloody brilliant - If anyone can track down any of the Best City XI's on this site people who were around in that period Chris Zoririch is often down as a centre back, beating the likes of Dowie, Mudd, Webster and Vickers.

I think he still playd for NZ, didn't somebody say he played against Scotland in that friendly a few weeks ago!
