Joe quits Gate due to work commitments

one of our better players, in a technical and skill sense, but probably a bit lightweight for this league. Will probably flourish at a higher level in a more passing, skillful and technical game.

sad to see him go but not the end of the world as in Jones and Stubbs we have similar players.

Good Luck at your next club which I imagine will be sooner rather than later - give it a couple of weeks.

Good evening gentlemen,

Joe, he is a very tactical player, with the correct coaching he could/maybe will be a class player, he can read the ball and the game very well, needs to play with a team who can play football, not saying by one stretch of the imagination the other lads can not, so please do not get wires crossed there gentlemen, but he does gain us a lot of free kicks, very clever and not being to obvious, very clever.

As one of you above pointed out, free some cash up for a natural goal scorer, I agree, but just hope management don't rush in and get the first thing offered, so he can play one or two games and be gone in a flash.

Very Good technical player certainly to a higher quality then the Ryman premier ability wise, but lacked the strength for this level and really shot shy for a Trequartista/Attacking midfielder type player, like some people have all ready said it will free some money up... problem is who do you get in?

Maybe he's not managed the goal return that many believe he should have recorded but he's been the most entertaining player skillwise over the past two seasons. I loved to watch his touch and skill when the 1st team were playing, even if we were getting beat he was worth the admission fee. Just hope Sam Jones will be able to do the same because I don't want to join the "result is all that matters section of fans". Yes I like us to win, naturally, but of upmost importance to me is entertainment for my admission fee win or lose.

Nothing wrong with his goal record imo.

Looked on target for about 5/6 per season.

Thats the same as our previous attacking midfield players achieved in the better (word used cautiously ) ryman days, when the likes of Saunders, mckimm and jackson were gettig about 6 goals a piece.
