Seems a lot of "love" being shared about Dannny Stubbs, not a bad player but has a lot to learn, the final pass is I think letting him down, but he is young and learning and a better player this season than last, in my opinion, but do not really agree with all of the rave reviews, this is not a negative post by the way, for all the doubters, I like him and hopefully he can inspire the rest of the side.

Thought Sam Jones had a good game but just signs that he held on to the ball too long and was closed down with loss of possesion - did seem that Canvey were quick to surround him with number of players when he received ball, somebody had done their homework. With the loss of Joe Healey he will be pivotal in that role behind the forward(s). For me John Keister read the game well showed his experience whist coping with responsibility of management and wins my vote.

I agree GT Stubbs is not the finished article by a long way but he will surely get better and i know its easier to shine in a team of players producing such poor performances, but feel we should give praise to players when they're doing well to encourage them to greater things.

Also agree with Wade about Sam re: not releasing the ball quickly enough (something that was said about him at other clubs) but looks very promising and hopefully the new manager will be able to get the best out of him and make him the player hes capable of being.

Oh and by the way before my vote is scrutinised I voted for Dean Grant as I thought he did ok in a debut in difficult circumstances for him

Why would your vote get scrutinised??? I do agree that Dean had an OK game for a debut though and I look forward to seeing him more.
