A few played well today for me. Dan Young at back, Curtis Robinson and Dan Stubbs worked hard once again. Healy had one of his better games recently. Keeper made a few good saves but for me Sam Jones gets it with his runs, passing and well taken goal.

He's not only been our most consistant player lately but has also won numerous MOTM awards for his efforts or are we all wrong and you're the only one who opinion matters!

I think that like your missus you're never gonna be satisfied.

Just using freedom of speech, which i believe you're a great advocate of when it suits.

It wasn't one of Dan's better games, though he did create the goal for us with his defence splitting pass to Healy but agree with Brickie the guy's workrate and passion is superb which a lot of us have recognised in voting for him as MOTM. (Though this time Sam Jones should be IMO).

Obviously my opinion matters to you, And my opinion is that he has been the best player for half a game too many times, Whether its stamina, or others fading as well I don't know, what he needs to do is maintain the performance into the 2nd half.

However there was a scout from Sheffield Utd at the game who told Ken that he thought Stubbs was best player on the park! So I would guess he can read a game better than any of us.

Quite the opposite actually but when i see you trying to put down the best player we have at the present time i feel the need to fight his case.

Must admit I had 'a word' in his shell-like about the second half. He did go missing. It was the instruction he was given at halftime by 'the boss' not to go forward and to do as he was told!! In the rather unusual formation of 5-2-1-2 we were toooooooo narrow and with the wrong players holding/doing as they were told I'm not suprised we lost. Just an observation from me, anyone have any views??

Strange formation! Dan was still running his socks off all game tho, concerned he may be running into other players zones creating a bit of havoc (IMO) but otherwise DS still gives 110% every game - wouldnt mind seeing him play up front with LB, you never know with his running/passing ability it might just work and he might have a pop at goal every now and again...... (just a thought is all).

Thats all very well Danny but the work Stubbs does for us in midfield is vital and i doubt whether the strikers would see so much of the ball without him working for us in the middle, I say leave him where he is, that way he's still free to get forward and also available to help out the defence.
