Guess the Manager

Just for fun and not a chance to weigh up the pro's and cons or give reasons why you wouldn't want a person to take over as manager (as he/they may have already been appointed and it would not be right to dismiss them on here before they start) but, as the Club are due to announce it on Thursday, simply who do you think will get (or has got) the nod?

I have no insider information bar the fact that I was told who it was definitely going to be on Saturday. The trouble is there were four different names I was told that had 'definitely' got it so unless we are appointing the biggest management team in the world, I think it was all just the rumour mill churning out random names again!

Anyway, onto who I think has got it.......................

On Saturday I was convinced it must be Andy Ford as he was reported to be at the ground, but since then have changed my mind to Alan Walker and Lloyd Hume! The reason for this is simply the fact that the new 'management team' will be announced and they come as a package. Of course the phrase 'management team' could mean a manager and his chosen assistant but Walker and Hume are my guess until I change my mind again!

Strangely enough, along with Ford and the Walker/Hume combo, Kinnear was another that had apparently definitely got it. Out of interest the fourth one I was told was Jim Ward and the recent rebuttal from him in the paper was apparently just a smoke screen!!!

As the candidates were ESCORTed to the board by the chief PREFECT they were told to CONSULt the oracle. The first came from the SIERRA nevada and the second came from East ANGLIA. However none came from GRANADA. I just hope the board FOCUSed on the real issues. ;)

I haven't a clue who the new manager will be, but looking at our current league position i hope he is related to Houdini in some way as IMO it's going to take a lot of magic to avoid relagation. I don't think it is just down to the team not being good enough but we just don't seem to have any luck on the park.

On a more serious note what incentive do they have to come here if not being offered a contract? Maybe he/they feel they have got nothing to lose! Ford would be a great appointment. I don't have much time for and have never liked Walker or Hume. I recall some very disrespectful remarks by them about us after we beat Maidstone at Christmas!
