Good point about fatigue maybe getting to blackman (mental and physical ).

I would have thought Curtis in the middle makes alot of sense in abscence of anyone else.Yes-Wheatley on bench-but whilst he has 'potential' (at what stage do all these players with potential realise it ?),for me-decent player though he is-Wheatley makes too many costly errors which he needs to eradicate as he gets more experienced .

Cliffe in a deep position-now that was a strange one !!

Can't see how this makes sense at all . What is the point in having him sitting on the bench week after week , won't gain much experience there. He does seem to have been overlooked by the 'current management' , or is it the strongest and most experienced to fight the relegation battle again , which doesn't seem to be working ! And you would think that Wheatley would pip Cliff there. Also Michael I don't know if you are aware , but you tend to use the phrase - "Wheatley makes too many costly errors" - as a matter of course each time you comment on him , which I think you will find is far from the truth , looking back at his recent form the results speak for themselves. If you keep saying this over and over again , there is a fear he might start to believe it , not very constructive . What do you think ?

Interesting post wacky.

I can't imagine for one minute that wheatley-or indeed anyone else -would 'believe' and take heed of the tosh that i post.

Is'nt that were the mental strength comes in though-yes we all have or opinions and thoughts-but ultimately-the players-whatever their age-have got to believe in themselves and have the mental strength to overcome anything.

You are right though-they need to take the field believing in themselves and having the mental strength to say to themselves how good they are and that would lead to fewer individual errors.

I go along with Cookie who frequently posts that instead of playing around on a training pitch-2 sessions in a classroom working through some organisational plans ,getting their heads clear and right, talking through 'what if' scenarios;and simply talking the game up and through among themselves-at this stage of season would be more productive than 'ball and fitmess work '

Well if he does look in,(I'm sure they all do from time to time),realises he needs to cut out these errors & DOES SO then I think that that, in way, would have amounted to have been constructive criticism. Only good would have came out of it & the player improves his game.

The same can apply to Blackman or any other player for that matter. For him also & any others,to take on board what WE believe is lacking in their game, improves on those flaws then he/they could improve their games also.
