firstly well done chens on passing the 100 goals tally.

thought we played alot better than recent matches. good result considering cinderfords recent results! thought dickens had a great game. could have been more than 5 but o well 5-0 was good enough! we have a tough month up ahead so play like we did today and we'll be ok!

Good to see that we are racking up the points and goals, AFC Totton refuse to give up, must get pretty demoralising week in week out when they do the business but we win as well, pretty soon they are going to slide, just my opinion.

The change in formation shook us up a bit and was what set us up for a big win if you ask me. Well Done Scotty. It seems you know what you are doing!

Thought dickins had his best game for us and Rico had his best game for us a starter. Smith really impressed me today aswell...oh and chenns got a hatrick so i guess he did alright too!! It was great to see us not just use Jake to destroy sides today too!!

Still cant work out how we kept a clean sheet...how did that lad blast it over the bar from about 2 yards out and an open goal!? Answers on a postcard please!! Still that wasnt the comedy moment of the game. That came when rico had the chance to lob the keeper from about 18 yards out and fluffed it and passed it to the keepers feet. Thank god we were 5-0 up. I dont think everyone would of been laughing if it was 0-0!

Big big midweek with us going to andover and Totton having the tough trip to Frome. I hope Frome are as negative as they were against us and manage to keep a clean sheet!

Oh and a massive well done to Chenns for getting his 100th goal. Top quality! Who was the last player to do that for windsor?

I didn't see that much of the game, but what I did see seemed quite similar ot our display against Frome but with more goals. We will get to see how good a result the Frome one was when Totton go there Wednesday. Remember Cinderford beat Totton and I wasn't to impressed with their defence. Frome had a very good defence and as SWR stated on a previous thread we failed to beat them twice so no mugs.

Is that ryan wharton's first goal for Windsor, reckon it must have been the big hug he got from Scotty the Stag before Kick Off!!

Nice to see the midfield hasn't struggled from losing both first choice central midfielders and the impressive Kristen (where was he yesterday?) Scotty indeed played with the formation and showed he has a good understanding of what his team can deliver when mixed up.

I guess we will be expecting another 3 points Tuesday, but take nothing for granted in this league, AFC Hayes took us close twice, Cinderford beat Totton. Lets just hope we go about our business as usual and Frome do us a favour.

Excellent work by Nathan Jack for chenns hatrick. Most players would of layed it off to the winger but he knew he had the beating of him with a bit of clever footwork and speed. Good too see him back. Thought all 4 strikers played very well on saturday. Would like too see us go in with the same line up on tuesday. Sides with negative mindsets will struggle to cope with 3 against 4 defenders and Jake/Joe/Seeds/Dickins,Bruce/Davey P, Warton, ryan parsons, fagan or butts who hasnt gone back yet helping out!! :icon22:

I think it would be a little generous to say that Rico "played very well".

He got in some great goal scoring positions but fluffed them every time.

Still, I love the way he plays the game with a smile on his face. When the defenders give him a bit of verbal he just laughs - not mockingly, just kind of having a laugh with them. It's refreshing.

I agree with Rother that Rico's finishing was poor and i don't think he's fit enough to play 90 mins. Having said that he's a good squad member, a useful player for coming on for last 20mins or so if needed. I would like to see 3 up front at Andover tonight with Chenns, Gavin and Nathan starting. I dont think Andover would cope with that!

I don't think many teams in the division would! The defence has shown it can cope pretty well with 3 at the back, especially if Seeds is back, so I wouldn't be surprised if we do have a 3-4-3. Given the relative league positions it would seem fair. Still, on balance I think Scotty's probably going to start with 4-4-2 and then maybe rest a defender if we're not looking threatened or if it's heavy weather up front - but in that case I think he might favour Rico as the 3rd, because he's getting very good at playing others clear even if his finishing isn't so hot right now...

You were spot on Dansilk we started with 3 up front Chenns, Gavin and Rico. Sadly only Chenns was at his best tonight otherwise the winning margin would almost certainly have been bigger!

He played four at the back in a 4-3-3, personally I would favour the front 3 to be Nathan, Chenns and Gavin, but you can't question Scotty if we get 3 points. Considering the players not starting I thought we did well, although I think we struggle a little with just 3 in midfield. But it's good the team can adjust and play different formations, and Scotty isn't scared to try them out.

Actually Fuzzy it was 3-4-3 with Ryan Parsons, Butler and Ryan Wharton at the back, midfield of Joe, Seeds, Dicko and Jake and Chenns, Gav and Ricco up top, assuming you were talking about Andover and not Cinderford.

I stand corrected, but it did look more like a 4-3-3 with us playing very deep. In the first half we only seemed to have the big kick up to the forwards and ignore the midfield. Maybe it is just that Dicko needs a few games but he did look like he was playing in defence and our midfield at times looked overrun when they had the ball.

Ah well never mind, 3 points and one step closer to the title, fingers crossed!!!!
