Got some mates who might be interested in going down but would like to know more about it! Thanks.

 

Apparently Geoff De Feu and some mates will be holding what us older people would call a 'Jamming' session to which anyone who plays an instrument or sings is welcome to come along and join in during the evening [Anyone who just wants to come along and listen is just as welcome of course!]. A few people have already shown an interest in joining in including someone Mudgey knows who is allegedly very good on the old Squeezebox so it should be a good informal evening. Geoff and his mates [i'm told] will also be trying out some new numbers for the band and we all know how good they were last time out.

 

It's very much a suck-it-and-see excercise to see how it goes but if all goes well and we get a decent response then it could become a regular event and grow to include all types of bands and music, something for which Windsor as a town has always had a good reputation but lacks nowadays due to the closure of places like the old Thames Hotel and the Ricky Tik !

 

Tell your mates to come along, after all 'Nothing ventured nothing gained' as they say and I promise not to sing !!!!!
