How many boys and girls play for MFC youth teams ? How many parents/ guardians are there ? would'nt it be nice to see them at home matches. Should they not show better support for the club.

It takes a lot of commitment from parents to make sure their children attend their training sessions and matches week in week out. A lot of families have both parents working now and time together spent as a family is precious . Also some youth matches are played on a Saturday.

Thanks for the sensible reply, rather than the half hearted rant by the other person.

No. They show their support by playing for their respective teams.

But if you're gonna make that point, why don't you ask the 1st teamers to go watch the youth team matches and show their support?

Or, stop stirring... Take your pick.

The reason I made the point is that, a lot of people are quite capable of selling tickets to friends and family, they could also buy shares or take advantage of many fund raising ideas, I'm not trying to stir, just come up with way to ensure the future of the club, which will be of benefit to generations of children to come, who knows another premiership star may devlope at MFC Youth. So please don't think all comments made are anti this that or the other, they could be simply constructive.

Here Here Derek Well said, I thought you had a valid point and I didn't think you were having a go at all. Some people can be so tetchy. There must be over 100 kids that play for Margate and are proud to wear the shirt, but never come to senior games, its a great pity. I will probably get shot down for this, but WHEN the new stand gets built, I hope the whole experience will become a lot more appealling to the floating supporters.
