Only a few shone in my mind Kieran Morris tried his utmost but wasn't easy coming on after so long away from the squad. AAron made several runs up right side but was only usually seen by Dan Stubbs. For me, once again, Stubbsy showed his consistency but continual hard work, running, tackling, a few good breaks but just had no support most of the evening.

It is not a popularity contest Jim, it is a fan's viewpoint on who they think performed the best. Look at all newspapers, websites etc, MOTM is always in there.

Of course, if you choose not to vote, which is your perogative, I am sure nobody will mind. :)

Why bother posting if you're not going to vote?

Not only that, the players know they didn't play well as a team - just listen to Wayne's interview.

Stubbs indeed was here there & everywhere but on a few occasions he did seem to lack composure & a few wayward crosses came because of that. Don't get me wrong he was way ahead of the others.. except one i.m.o. Young DUNCAN once again NEVER put a foot wrong & I watched him closely whenever he got the ball. Again nice & simple, gave himself time to find a man & defended well when we were under the cosh a few times.Nothing spectacular but affective. Both these players stood out for me above all others but because of the reasons mentioned above DUNCAN gets my vote on this occasion.

I think this is the second time in a row I have had these two at the top of my list. (reversed forecast next time maybe :biglaugh:

When we were 3-0 down one of our supporters shouted "Give up Danny, everyone else has"... but he didn't. He's a great kid. He'll probably be MoM on Saturday too...

To be fair to Garrad, he only made that one mistake. OK, so it was a shocker that arguably cost us the match, but other than that I though he's done fairly well. We've all seen a lot of keepers this season, and he is certainly not the worst, well not in my opinion anyways

Agree Stuy, he did make some fine saves to go with his his goof but their 3rd goal? Did that not go directly under his body into the net too. Maybe I'm being harsh on this one but thats what I saw (from the other end admittedly). A good & bad game for him I suppose but the fact remains, going down 2 goals to a soft goal such as that & at that time,in the final seconds of the 1st half definately left a mountain to climb for the other lads let alone a hill,as was at that point.

He wasn't the only one at fault last night though, others were also but for different reasons. Dan Young ,who I usaully have all the time for & rate,on this occasion came forward menacingly, but gave the ball away (sloppy pass) deep down their end & it quickly came up our end & they scored, unbelievably at the second attempt & from an acute angle,an angle that seemed impossible to score from.

That started things off as up to that point we had done ALL the running without looking too dangerous after the intial 2 or 3 cracking chances we had. Again failing to put the ball into the net proved costly too.

Lots of faults from quite a few players last night I'm afraid. Its about time they learned from these mistakes, concentrated more, panicked less & put things right.

hello all you die hard fans havent posted on here for a long time but can any one tell me if loyd blackman ever takes a shot at an angle because to me he always shoots straight at the goaliejust like his penaltys and yes stubbsy was good but i think curtis was slighty better

Curtis by far, he played for two halves, Stubs only one and bits.

Every move seems to break down when Curtis gets the ball, takes an age to cross the ball, always wants to go on the outside but never has the pace or skill to get past. Also I can remember many times, and it happened on Tuesday, wen he cud have crossed it but wanted to take the man on the outside but fails . He is decent

defender, but can be caught out of position to often. Also seems to pick up a few bookings. He benefits from being the only left back we have.

Having said that, he isn't the worst player in the team and with some improvements could be a good player. It says sumthing that Butler was looking to bring Ricardo Josephs to the club tho.

I didnt think Curtis played badly at all on Tuesday - he made some good runs and crossed the ball well too. I think you will find that there is one player that seemed to break down a lot of margate moves on Tuesday night by passing it to the opposing team - and it was not Curtis!

Curtis also has great pace and also skill for such a young player IMO

Having pace wen running into open space is one thing , but does he ever take on a man on the outside, beat him and get a good cross in? he does seem to lose the ball by getting tackled or running into a corner or running into trouble wen he cud cross earlier or play a pass. Maybe i just mean that he is better at defending than going forward. He's a decent player but we need better than decent players!

Um yes, he does and has won several MOM to show it

We have decent players - just need someone decent to gel them together and to start getting results
