John you must have seen worse at Ashford when you were a regular!! Your a die hard these days don,t give up. I'll still travel 150 miles to see um. It.s in yours and my blood. I had a blood test the other day it came out BLUE.

Sure is wasnt ROSE COLOURED Geoff, im sorry mate but this is a shambles, wish we were singing in the rain again at Stonbridge Road, what a lovely day mate!

its literally in my blood geoff i have a margate fc tattoo running the length of my right forearm and no i dont regret it just p i ssed off with it all lol

What a great way to look at it. I'll remember that if I'm having a bad day.

 

I must admit though football that the blue strip have been playing this season hasn't been too pleasing, results wise. At least over the last couple of seasons I've been able to go and watch the great display of football put on by our reserves the following week. Yet that team, that seemed, to be bursting with confidence and skill have nearly all disappeared; and not into our 1st team. To think I was getting so excited about watching them progressing through and leading us back up the pyramid. Seems such a shame though that they've chosen to leave and our club won't gain the reward of their undouted talent.

I don't really know the policy of the club, or if they're all out on loan elsewhere, but to have stripped such a good unit out and replace nearly all of them with so many real youngsters seems to me to be bewildering. Surley the age groups up till 18 are there for just that so that we can try and progress the slightly older lads on through into the 1st team, maybe with the exception of the odd one youngster; just to get a feel. But being battered most weeks won't be good for their confidence either.

Must say though although I've not seen a lot of him, so far, I like the look of a very young lad call George. I'm afraid I don't know his surname.
