DISPICABLE!!!!!

I've seen some shoddy Margate performances over recent years, but i will easily put this among them. To go 3-0 down without a fight at HOME against a team who are also struggling against relegation is nothing short from embarrasing. Kiester hasn't got a clue how to manage a club as he has no experience. We need someone with experience in this situation and our time in this league is very rapidly running out, something needs to be sorted and fast. The lack of commitment today was shocking from pretty much all of the players bar Stubbs and probably Morris. Everybody looked like that they would rather watch the Man Utd v AC Milan then help the club stay up, i know after watching that i wished i stayed at home and watched the united game. Why are we so scared at having a shot on goal? and why upon why upon why, do we think we can win games by standing around waiting for the ball and when we do get the ball just pass in a straight line across the midfield then lose it and watch them attack. At the moment we are nothing better then a mid-table Kent League side. I can confidently say that after tonights performance we WILL finish bottom, which is completely different to how i felt after last weeks performance against Wealdstone.

MESSAGE TO PIPER: SORT IT OUT

Wasn't very good was it Alex!. Barring Stubbs & Duncan no-one came out with any credit. Keeper made some heroic saves but also probably cost us the game.Going in 1-0 at half-time we would have still had half a chance. 3nd goal went under his body I thought too.Even I was getting browned off last night.

Its not so much who manages this club its the players themselves who are STILL not believing in themselves & as Alex quite rightly points out are afraid to take the game by the scruff of the neck & to shoot when able to do so.

Massive improvement required for Saturday & as for the season, well I am not quite the defeatest just yet but last night went someway towards me moving in that direction.

I thought Stubbs was very good and Robinsn did ok.

I didn't understand booing JK - He had a shocker like many others - Or was it because he has the thankless task of running the shambles? Billericay were by far the worst team to come to HDP this year (apart from us!). All we had to do was keep the pressure on their defence as they were all over the show.

What does it take to get them to turn around before they recieve the ball, thus be immediately facing the right direction to pass forward?

If you're reading this Mr Beeks, what will it take? You guys want a contract, I'll give you a contract.

I see the club have advertised for a manager now. That means they will not be carring out any interviews until at least next week. After last nights display how are you suddenly going to change that set of players into winners. Answer is, you're not. I believe that the new manager will not have time to save us. We are in the same position as last year too little too late, at the wrong end of the season. We have been saying for last TWO seasons now that we need, at least, a striker and an experienced defender, we've had neither. Lets be realistic, if you look at any other team in any other division from Premiership downwards to Non League, and you saw a club with the results that we have had, I would say that 99% of people would not give them any chance of staying up. Thats what we are facing. We all thought that with a string of home games that we could save ourselves, but in reality we have performed better away from home over the last few seasons, so it was always going to be a tough ask. I don't know what it is because we are still one of best supported clubs in the league so why do the players not react to that. We take 50 plus supporters to away matches, even in these dire times, yet its woeful. For the first time last night I turned the commentary off at half time as it was too depressing (nothing personal Wellsie) as there was no way that team were going to make any comeback. This is really a low point for all gate supporters now and even the more optimistic of us are now feeling really let down. Its almost a certainty that we will be playing in Ryman South next season, I'm afraid, unless we get a miracle worker in. I believe the only way we can get out of this is for the club to to put its hands in its pockets and get at least two decent league players in on loan.

What is required is a motivator to get the self belief back into the team. Now this does not need to be an ex footballer but someone who can motivate this bunch of young men out of thier lack of self belief in themselves. Leave the team tactics to what MB & SB were doing as this was beginning to work & the players were getting thier heads round it.

So please KP go and get someone who can MOTIVATE these players back to what we know they can do & find your manager at your leisure or else we willl tumble right down the leagues to Kent in the next 2 years.

You cant flog a dead horse, the players arnt good enough whoever we get in as manager sadly!

That's not true Mr Blue. There's plenty of quality there, as we have seen for long periods in recent games. It's just transforming that into winning that is lacking, and that is where a good manager comes in.

Do you always swear Realistic Blue to get a point across?

I am not saying the team are good but I for one wont blast them from behind a PC. I choose to speak to them face to face and by doing that I can see that they are hurting as much as us fans after a poor performance. Yes confidence is part of it just listen to Wayne's interview after the game.

NO not in the clouds RB, tho I am pretty tall ;)

I follow our club through thick and thin and sure I remember the Southern Leagues days when we only just scaped a 3 figure attendance but if fans chose to stay away that is their decision I for one wont. No I am not happy but IMO constantly moaning at them at games or on here must effect them in some way surely?

Sorry alan as much as your a nice guy and thoroughly respect your opinion i'm with RB on this one, everything he has said i agree with it may not be what people may want to hear but deep deep deep down soooooo many of us feel the same. Unfortunately i miss quite a few games due to work but made it along last night and GOD do i wish i hadn't, it wasnt just the players who didnt have a clue, seen more atmosphere at a funeral the fans are sooooo dispondant noone really knows whats happening and to me we are nowhere near the quality required to stay in this league, the club have been butt screwing us for years and when the fans express an opinion they would rather not hear it. As for the piper out boys i reserve judgement, i have my own opinions on this matter which i will keep private but, just for a second, put yourself in mr pipers shoes do you think for one minute he wants the club to go down this route?? nope i dont and i bet he is smashing his head with frustration and am also sure he's stuck for ideas too. Maybe he should move on maybe he shouldnt thats not for me to debate. Over all we are at a standstill and as of this moment (ie 11.25 am) i will not be attending on saturday and waste my money on the [censored] we are being subjected to week in week out. Now before you all jump on my back and say 'well thats not helping the club, by staying away is it' well no your probably right but when have the club helped us?? it is my right to spend my money as and where i please and at the moment my money is better spent on my kids or something. Who knows i may feel different come saturday but somehow i doubt it. I was saying just the other day i remember the days of getting up sparkly eyed happy and buzzing on match days not waiting to get to see the gate, now i wake up and think can i really be bothered and thats not the way it should be, i want that buzz back again.
