Fund Raising Hut

I feel an oppourtunity to raise much needed cash is being missed, Is it not possible to have in place a shed or hut near the burger bar, solely for the use of fund raising activities, many fans would part with spare change on lottery tickets, even event tickets, they may even like to purchase match day tickets in advance, I'm sure there are many other things that could be done.A visible unit would attract more intrest. Just a thought.

Also KP has contacts that could build the unit from UPVC products, most of which he would get as 'free issue' or as obsolete stock, only needs erection(stop it now..........thats enuf!!!!)

You're dead right, having won it myself on one occasion I can confirm that the meat was indeed high quality. As I understand it the gent who did the meat raffle is heavily involved with the reserves these days but perhaps there is someone else who is at every match who would be prepared to run one?

 

I also feel, and have said it before, that more consideration could be given by supporters to the 50/50 draw. Going purely from memory it seems that support of this draw is round about 1 ticket for every two people. Perhaps if we could get that average up over 20 - plus home games it might help.

yep , very true , you can only give as much as you can and we have given them alot if you think about it .With all the money that MISA make and give to the club and the money that was collected for the club to help the tax man the boot fairs the club shop and anything else they have pretty much had a fair bit from the surporters . I know a football club is always an on going thing but its about time the club realised that if they are finding it hard to get or stump up money then they should realise that we the surporters may just find it a bit of a struggle to sometimes as well . They want to run our club because they want to not because there is a law that says they have to and if they can`t afford to run it then they should be asking for help from people with more money than us guys . We will all do our best to help but you have to stop at some point and say no . Why can`t we go down the route of league clubs and find an American who wants to invest in a club infact why can`t we be the 1st Non league club to be bought by an American who will take us up into the Pro leagues also has Cliff been to Manston yet to ask if the new airline company will help or sponsor the club in the future .

Or why don't we just ask a league club to help us? Many of them have youth academies, and those youth players could use experience. That way, we'd be helping them gain experience and they'd be helping us survive.
