Tonights Attendance

Any ideas on what tonights attendance will be....

 

I'm gonna push the boat out and say

I wasn't particularly optimistic on the crowd front, but I'm sure there was a couple of Hull supporters sitting behind me on the bus coming home from work (Northern accents and the way they were talking it was obvious this was their first visit to Canvey)

 

Quite a nice evening, a Friday evening so could be a 500+ crowd.

Talking to some of them down the Jellico before the game, they reckon about 25 Hull fans made the journey. I reckon it was about 400 attendance.

Canvey Crane & Yellow Army 2003 are the masters at this game, 585 according to the Non League Paper.

I would've gone for about 500-ish.

 

40/50 Hull regulars, most of the regular Yellow Army and quite a few neutrals were in attendance. The North terrace was quite full during the second half.

 

I think 585 is reasonable enough.

 

BTW - It wasn't Jeff that was accused of inflating figures before.

Hull supporters coming down from up there on a Friday night for a freindly is something very special I think... how far is it up there ?? (it reminds me of that classic 'only fools and horses episode 'to Hull and back')

You cant put a price on that kind of fan base following and support. Some of the Canvey folk who turn up for the big games only should take note of this show of support and try harder next season.....it could just make the difference.

Scoot don't I remember you seeing less and less games as the season come to a close, From your statement above it will be nice to see another one of the group to turn up to more games this coming season.

Good call, I wont argue..You did see less and less of me Hillsy, it's called working late shift and catching up with other things on a weekend. Golf is and allways has been my number 1 hobby in life and takes up 90% of my weekend. should I have a free saturday I will allways try and join the lads for the 3pm KO...what I dont do though is try and make out im a hardcore fan, turn up for the 'biggies' then come on the boards and moan about players attitudes and lazy work rates during the game then moan about kingy blah blah. Others do ....
