While I understand that raking over well turned stones is pointless...............weren't we the club that SACKED, yes sacked, Chris Kinner???

 

Those responsible for that crass action should be held to account for the mess that the club is now in.

CK wasn't sacked. We looked to heading out of the Ryman Premier and his contract was not re-newed. At the time, the popular choice for manager - after a spell as care-taker was Robin Trott.

 

Perhaps the easy task is to identify crass actions in hindsight. The tricky task is making and taking difficult decisions in the moment.

Well I for one never called for CK to leave or indeed for RT to take the helm. Indeed, If CK was to go an experienced head was required and not an untried player/manager.

 

If you say he wasn't sacked I'm sure you know better than me, but didn't he leave his post dirctly after a Tuesday night fixture? Funny time for his contract to end or are you saying that he was told, at that point, next season we wouldn't require his services?

 

Sacked or not crass is one of the milder words I'd use to describe the action.
