Only 2 have been inactive... and Takeleys last league game was 6 weeks ago.

Y'all can say whatever you want about clapton, it truth of the matter is we play much better than alot of teams up there on the table. Maybe we are treat to alot of teams out there that is why we are getting all the attention. Obviously everyone knows only winning counts in football and it doesn't matter how it comes or how bad you play but we play much better than our result is saying really...... Hopefully its a begining of many wins to come..........................................................

Maybe just a litttle... Heard some more lies to come out of them, a fan who lives in the Dunmow area gets their papr and they told me that they (Stansted) were saying again how we have come from the Ryman League and thought it would be easy, nobody at our club ever thought it was going to be easy, no one in a paper, no one on a message board, but they have to find away of justifying if they were to lose. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in this league this season and will next season if we are still here. This is not the first time they have made this claim they did it on this forum too, trying to alienate and put other teams against us.

 

We have had great days on the road at proper grounds... Burnham, Southend Manor, Basildon, Bethanal Green, Apsa, Tiptree, Mauritius, Clapton and Barking and look forward to great visits to Bowers, Eton, Sawbo, Takeley, Enfield & Bside..

Just got back from Italy and after speaking to Tel, I understand we were well and truly beaten by a better team on the day.

Glad for WA WAFC as losing to us TWICE already this season has made him a very bitter man and this result will make his day,month,season.

 

I would ask him to explain the panel beater thing that he continues to go on about and the Olympian League quote as at this moment in time, although we are only a small village team with NO budget (I believe theres is £800pw) we have only lost 3 times in the league and cannot see us being relegated.

young inexperienced players but if you want to claim it so be it. No problems, we only

started playing anything resembling a first team in the GBT quarter finals.

 

2. You are fully aware of the incident which has been mentioned many times.

About your number 2, avoidance of the question yet again. It was at the league cup game at

your ground. Your 2 who came over to us when you scored your two goals to go 2.0 up gloating,

threw his dummy out of the ground after the final whistle after we scored two goals in a minute to draw

2.2, he kicked and punched the panels and would not even shake hands with our young players.

Real mature. Remember there were witnesses at this game.

 

3. You keep mentioning our budget with no facts. Yet again, which proves my point you need to

justify losing, get your excuses in early. Clever, unfortunately no one buys it. Oh and liar liar pants on fire. :cheesy (2):

 

4. Your claims about how we all thought we were too good, if you want to find it, it is also

on this forum you or your other login deadnats posted it. When you tell me about the punishment

for point two which i have asked for previously, i will gladly prove this point.

Correction mate he gloated when you went two nil up and then could not handle it when we came back.

Shame Mr Ferguson wasn't given that solution for young Cantona to write lines. If your man was playing in front of a bigger crowd, he might have not got off so easy.

I went to Mauritius v Hullbridge this weekend. Chris Woods former Clapton and Ilford has taken the Mauritius job until the end of the season and they won the game courtesy of a stunning goal at the end of the first half.

 

Have to say though overall the wrong team won. Hullbridge just look a bit lacking in cutting edge to me, they played the second half camped in the Mauritius half but couldn't score...... not even when the old man Portway came on.....

 

That was the first time I'd seen Hullbridge all season and I've now seen everyone in the Senior league at least once. As Waltham Forest are at Concord on Wednesday I'll probably go and watch Eton Manor, who ironically play Hullbridge...... so after going until February without seeing them I'll now see them twice in a week.

 

But a more general point, I think this is the strongest Senior League I've seen in years. Okay, there isn't one outstanding team who could match Hornchurch or Brentwood, or possibly even Concord, but there everyone is pretty competitive right throughout the division. Everytime you go to a Senior League game it's really difficult to know which team will win and the games are competitive and there is some good football. I actually think Lowestoft apart, there is more football played in the ESL than in the Ryman One North. It bodes well for the league. I just hope that the ground grading issues can be resolved, because if the FA come down as threatened then there will be as many as 5 or 6 I'd imagine who'll struggle to meet the requirements. It would be such a shame to see clubs have to drop down at the end of the season because of ground issues.
