Tring Athletic 6-0 Langford

Shocking result, whats happened to Langford lately? Thats 11 goals without reply in the last two games isn't it?

Loosely - Why is it a shocking result, Tring are second in the Premier Division table and are the highest goalscorers whereas Langford are below half way with the worst goals against record in the Division. I would actually say it was a good result for Langford considering the injuries I believe they currently have.

Premier Division

0 2 St Margaretsbury v Welwyn Garden City

A report on this shock result from another's Forum:

St. Margaretsbury 0 Welwyn Garden City 2

Admission £6/ £3 (inc programme)

Tea 70p

h/c 44

This wasn't a game of quality, but it was entertaining. This ground is set back from the club and a sign directing you to the pitch would have been helpful. The home team were poor and the visitors were worth their win. They scored on 28 minutes from the best move of the game and then confirmed the three points on 89 minutes. This was a real goal keeper error. The home keeper raced out to clear a ball. He missed the ball completely letting in the Welwyn number 17 to score an easy goal. A friendly club who need a player who can create chances in the box.

Premier Division

5 2 Harefield United v Leverstock Green

As usual Leverstock Green are out the traps like Mick the Miller with their match report:

Confirmation that the Haringey Borough 4 Colney Heath 1 result was indeed correct:

Rhodders - well that was why I was asking and you have supplied an answer of sorts I suppose. So according to you losing 6 nil is a good result but it must be very demoralising shouldn't it?

Not at all, just the opposite infact. Anyway why have you suddenly singled Langford out, what about Colney Heath's shocking defeat yesterday 'at home' to Haringey Borough and St Margaretsbury's defeat to Welwyn Garden City

Not demoralising? The opposite in fact according to you? Please explain your deep knowledge of how their players and supporters feel. My interest is purely empathy as I have friends there, probably you do too but at least I've talked to some of them. The issue is somewhat deeper than you'd like to make out since obviously you do not know.

As ever, discourse with you is pointless.

Loosely - Langford are a great Community Club with excellent facilities yet you appear to have something against them for some unknown reason. All I'm saying is that a 6-0 defeat at high flying Tring Athletic is not demoralising in the slightest and I think photograph number five below confirms my view as their stand in keeper still has a broad smile on his face:

I can't take the credit for yesterday as I've just got back from Guernsey. My son James deserves the honours this time, taking time out from his hectic student social life to put the results on Mitoo for me.

PS Thanks to AWK for doing the postponements for me.
