Well it's certainly no surprise, I assume Sport London e Benfica will be switching their 'home' fixtures too before too long, possibly even next Wednesday's game with Sun Postal Sports

Mark Hayward - Well I'm sure you will be the first to agree that it's a ridiculous state of affairs

Mark Haywood - Incidentally, it's sad to see on this link what the hallowed Coles Park turf could and should be like all year round if the Chairman bothered to put his hand in his pocket:

The Cold End - This question has been asked on a number of occasions before and I give a one word answer every time, 'Sugar'.

What is the exact problem with the pitch at Coles Park??

TheColdEnd - Further to my brief original reply, maybe I should put some flesh on the bones for you.

Supposedly Haringey Borough have a groundsman this season who is clearly about as much use as a chocolate fireguard although, to be fair, there is one particular problem area with the hallowed turf, opposite the car park end near the stand touchline, which has been caused by the weekend market that the Club host at Coles Park. What he needs to do is use some of the money to solve the problem or get the market organiser to pay for it which wouldn't cost an awful lot, however it's the usual story of a potentially huge Club shooting itself in the foot as has been the case for countless years.
