Before anybody starts saying I'm jumping on the band wagon of "sack the board".

 

I would just like to say that I think Keith Piper has done a hell of lot for MFC over the years, I believe there are a lot of board members / chairman that would have walked away considering all what has gone on. there are some areas of which I feel sorry for the man ie. council !

 

However I think the time has come now to say enough is enough. Whatever the reason for Mark's resignation (and only Mark knows the truth) the board have made a huge error. A manager who has proven loyalty and can coach on a "shoe string" must not be given up lightly !

 

Mr Piper you do run the club on your own, its Margate FC not Piper FC and until you allow other people in you will get nowhere. Another manager lost due to Piper (IMO) and this time his name wasnt Barry Ashby.

 

The club needs a new direction, not at the end of the season...NOW.

 

Lets hope a new money man maybe sitting round the corner but until he turns up Margate will never rise through the pyramids of non league football.

 

Will continue to support the gate but it will be a while until I return to the stands.
