Can we do this

Through the good offices( no pun intended Steve) of "Margateshot" we came together and bought 4 shirt sponsorships.

What would happen if we took that a little further and 100 of us put in a minimum £2.50 per week up until say, the end of the season, that would give the club the funds to help pay the wages of the striker and perhaps that elusive central defender. I am sure the sum would not be to badly missed by most.

If anyone is interested i have spoken to Keith Lewis and he as treasurer of Misa is willing to make sure the donations gets to the correct place. As a donation it all gets through.

As I have said many times before, lets here your ideas.

just a thought regarding this topic..... why not (if allowed) that the supporters that pay £9.00 to watch a game I would guess most hand over a £10 note say the £1.00 change goes into the 'donation bucket' for a month or so just till the situation re-finance gets on track. This way it's easy to collect, not a great burden to people the (extra pound) and another avenue of helping the club out,but would ask the club give supporters notice via website, posters what it intends to do and to make it clear it's a voluntry donation and NOT forced on anyone.
