I saw the Adam Ant programme - very good it was, too!

 

Was watching RISE this morning too, and Iain Lee mentioned last night's Adam Ant programme, to which bimbo Kate Lawler asked "who's Adam Ant?"

 

I really get annoyed with Kate Lawyer, and she's nowhere near as fit as people claim her to be. She's just a thick blonde.

 

But she's 10 times better than Edith Bowman, so I shan't complain too much!!

First time I saw that film was about 5 years ago when it had just came out on video. There must've been something going around at the time about Satan/Millenium as I think that was around the same year that Arnie's 'End of Days' was released too.

Adam Ant was one of the first pop stars I was aware of when I was very young. I liked his singles (Prince Charming, Goody Two Shoes etc.) but I don't own any of his albums. I thought the programme last night was really interesting. That stalker would've done my head in!!

a typical case of had it all and then nothing.. the trouble with being a pop star is very few of em really make the super mega bucks you'd think .. its a expensive lifestyle and these days lasts less n less time.. must be very hard for a yound person to have people telling them they are fantastic then nothing especially the arty sensitive types

Kate is thick - I just said in a sraight [******] choice between her and Justine she'd win.

Me and Zeal were discussing this on Wednesday but kids these days know absoutly nothing about music at all - "who's Adam Ant" is exactly the type of thing you'd expect out of a 21yr olds mouth these days. What do we do in bloody music lessons at school, teach the recorder, just how many people do you know still play the recorder (or the sodding triangle).

 

And interestingly enough had drivetime made it to the 4th week one of the guest's lined up was Adam Ant's biographer, we also were going to get one the Ant's into the next Hangover show and Tony being a old punk rocker has actually offered Mr Ant a bed if he's ever down in London.
