Just catching up on some postings and threads...

 

To try to answer some of the slagging off's this association has had to take over the past few years, by supporting people who at least had the right intentions , but are again woeful letting us down....hindsight is a most wonderful thing and sorry my crystal ball has faded and getting cloudier by the minute !

 

Remember 5 years ago when a Mr Gurney became a possible (new owner) STSA committee saw through his vail ...just look what has happened to Luton Town over the last 3 months - he put them in receivership and bankrupted them !

 

Martin Deaner for what all has been said has done things very very badly - but has managed to keep football going in one way or another ...Ok we don't agree with how and why but that is a fact..

 

I personally have had many conversations with Martin and get wipped up into the future plans (which would be great) if they come off , for that reason STSA have tried to go along with the plans , like most people we wish that these plans come to fruitition as we have no one else doing anything for us ! The council, I thought were helping us but we have been battered and torn trying to keep dialogue with them. promises here and there !

We have tried to open dialogue with Alan Thorne to see what road we can go down ! to secure Wexham Park Stadium for STFC, but Alan has been in hospital and is not well again....

 

During the last 6 months STSA has tried its best to sort out all the twists and turns that have happened and like the general supporter is totally confused and fed bull s--t as everyone else is , and if you got any answers of what we can do then please tell us....

 

Our Trust formation will help us to be in a better shape to take on the running of a fototball club , wheather it be STFC if Martin Deaner passes it over or AFC Slough Town if thats what the supporters really want and we go our own way.... its a decision that will have to be made if Martin Deaner walks away.... and STSA may well have to take a year out of Football and re organise if so be it....

 

But please don't slag our members off with such comments as we don't care nor are we ready to fight our corner. YES WE ARE ! but it needs all of our membership to back us...and support us...

 

Remember we do this for nothing (nor expect too get pay for this)

 

We love our club and will do everything we can to save it...

 

But along that road we need help !

 

EG : If we are to play at Wexham Park next season...how many will come along and really go to town and get the place ready for the start...we will need workers to paint repair and install items...plenty of work to be done...

but will STSA get the help we really need to ensure these jobs are done....the Answer will be NO ! we won't....

 

How many members will join the Trust ?

to give the support we really need...not many !

 

if you want to change things then I suggest you get more active and stop throwing the mud...we need to work together and really work together to achieve whats best for STFC !

count me in....I'm a dab hand with a microphone and can also pull pints with the best of 'em....

 

extremely numerate so the till will fall under my area of responsibility and I'm also very skilled in the arts of staff motivation...so the rebelettes will be under my guidance as well I assume...

Chris, Roge is as entitled to his opinion and views as much as the reset of us. Just because it differs from ours does not mean we should be pushing him away. If everyone had fallen for Mr Deaner's idealism, we'd be a lot worse off.

 

Also, to say Roge has done nothing is a slight fib.... I saw him there at the protest days, and by attending those, he's done a lot more than others have.

 

We're supposed to be trying to attract more support, not send what we have away...

Just to add to that Gary, a lot more people, myself and my dad probably included, would help out the club and protest, etc, but we simply can't for various reasons. It doesn't mean we don't want to or won't in future.
