Bring Back Yorath & Southall

To be fair KP didn't block it Danny, the paper says that if MB had still been manager Harrison would have signed yesterday (Much as I liked MB does seem to much of a coincidence).

As for Wayne taking the training, maybe he did he is a PE teacher I believe. I would not be surprised to see JK running the team tomorrow though.

SIGH!

Both the club via Cliff and Mark himself have been clearly quoted in the local press as to why he went. Having spoken to both parties, they both seem surprsied it ended the way it did; but it did.

Harrison signing was not blocked - it hadn't been agreed - although it's been no secret that Mark wanted him here.

The deal was done just after New Year but something didnt happen !!

Anyways, whats done is done. I thought JK would be invovled. A much needed 3 points on Saturday, as they say no one is as big as the club !

It does also say in the paper that the club were going to sign Carl Rook but seems that MB knew nothing of it . MB also says that one minute he is ask to trim the budget and knock £20 off here and there then the next thing the clb are trying to Buy Rook .

Surely to make big signings we've gotta trim back elsewhere but MB probably would have like them to have been his own.

As said above i wouldn't take much of that report as gospel, but if there is somebody arranging transfers behind the managers back maybe that person should have a go at running the team!!!

The reason the manager left wasn't over a contract offer. Its just what is being made public so Margate don't look like the bad guys. He was told after the game that he was allowed to play (and I forget how it was worded) either his best striker, which I guess would mean Blackman, or the most expensive striker, which I am guessing is Joseph because he was costing the club too much per game. I am guessing this is because of either goal bonuses or appearance bonuses.

Manager obviously struggling in the relegation zone needs to play his best players, argued that but wasn't going to win, so rather than stick around and watch the budget and hope dwindle, left.

Everyone knows Southall wanted the job, so he'll take it rather than go through having to go through applications again, and possibly compensation for a club, at least until we know what league we are going to be in.

I know MB quite well, I dont think thats true, I think he wanted to work under any remit the club had, but didnt want the remit changing every week, we got no money this week we are signing Carl Rook the next, he was given the task of doing some dirty jobs again I got the impression no problem with the tasks, just wanted the board to back him

surely Josephs loan is up know.
