Having seen both Ashley Dumas and Danny Slatter released by the club, it makes me wonder if Brian and Barry are beginning to plot some bids for a few new faces?

 

Maybe that special striker many of us are wanting?

Have I got to start writing a revised CV?

 

He wasn't good enough for us, so we let him go.

He wasn't good enough to get another club so we took pity on him and brought him back.

He came back and wasn't good enough, so we let him go.

He went to Hornchurch and wasn't good enough, so they let him go.

Where is he now?

The way he is talked about I presume he must be at least Conference Premier or perhaps higher?

It must be a different Paul Shave who went to the league below us (forget which team) and got sent off in his first game.

 

Stop being so ridiculous!

Hall, Pond, Shinn, Green - you'd see one of these dropped for "Shavinhio"??

If we're THAT desperate, I'll bring my boots on Saturday

Dumas has great distribution?

Bring back Shave?

 

I'd also like to see Paul Abbott back on the wing supplying the crosses for Tom Beech to fire us to safety....................

I'm finding this all a bit depressing. Ashley Dumas is one of the last pre BS signings and at the time I seem to remember how pleased everybody at the Club was to capture such a player against a lot of interest. Ashley has perhaps not made quite as much progress as he could but it is difficult to judge when he doesn't get a game. I don't think this release helps us much, why could we not give him a few games, its not as if we have a winning formula at present ( far from it!!!)

 

As to Danny Slatter, well he hasn't set the world on fire so if it releases a salary for a new striker then all well and good.

 

Unfortunately our management seem to be adopting the same revolving door policy as Grays Athletic and that doesn't seem to work either.

 

Oh well let's keep hoping for a point or two, the league is very tight and a couple of wins at this stage would make a huge difference.

Ashley has started 12 competative games (this season) 7 of which we lost, Those 12 games inc a run of 9 starts in 10 matches.

 

I Dont know about anyone else, but I was pleased we finaly captured Simon Thomas, It was a shame that Simon didn't look as if the the feeling was mutual..

He left BTFC because of disciplinary reasons he returned on request and put in performances and goals which helped take this club from where it is now to safety

 

Hornchurch liked him enough to sign him where he once again scored goals personal reasons stopped him playing but eventually as a favour played for Tilbury

and sent off although voted MOM.

 

Baazza, When you go to Kingstonian on Saturday, with Hall, Pond, Shinn and Green, you just might wish you had Shavesie with you.

Last Year you wanted to manage this year you want to bring your boots . Perhaps youd be better off supporting the team your advice doesnt sound like its going to pay dividends

At the moment you could probably do with the help of Heffer,Dormer, Flack Game, Burbridge, Hodgie, Hunter, Ferguson as well as Shave to add a little something to your current plight
