Quiz Night

Good news; after the winter recess the quiz is returning. The details are as follows: Friday March 12 at 7.30 pm in the Hartsdown social club. Format as previously that is £3 per head to include food. Teams preferably of up to six but rules can be bent! John Cooper is devising the questions on the same lines as the last which gave everyone a sporting chance. You don't have to be an Einstein to take part, it is simply a fun evening. Remember money raised goes into the pot which makes its' way to the football club; every few pounds help. To book a place or table ring Keith Lewis on 01843 226963 or see him at a match.

Regretfully the quiz night due to be held on March 12th has had to be postponed as the clubhouse is now to be used for another function. We are working with quizmaster John Cooper to come up with an alternative date which hopefully will be quite soon after or before the 12th.

It would seem that switching to a Thursday has proven to be difficult for some of the teams who had intended to take part on the Friday! There are now too few teams to make the evening competetive so reluctantly the quiz this Thursday March 11th has been cancelled. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

However we shall not give up and indeed are expecting to hold a quiz in April. Please check this page of the web-site in due course for further details.

Finally a thankyou to all who attended the Race Night last Saturday with special gratitude to all who sponsored races, horses, etc.
