Why? Hitchin are in pole position and if we were to beat Burnham in two weeks we'd go ahead of them on points with the same games played.

 

 

I would be surprised if you beat them, i don't know your record against the top teams but a draw would be a good result.

Possibly correct but how do you keep a squad this big happy and match fit and it is now a very big squad shame we have no reserve set up

very true on the match fitness comment especially. against Marlow we saw a few that hadn't played a lot not quite on the ball in terms of technique etc. its bound to happen but i am sure we will see more rotation now the matches are stacking up. at least we have the quality to be able to rotate unlike the last god knows how many seasons

Bateman has a good enough attitude and will start to play the reserve players in friendlies such as the ones earlier this year. He can send Darren salton along with the others to keep match fitness.

That was always going to be a problem from day one. They needed a reserve team not a youth team.

Actually both would be preferable but if we have to have one it's better to develop the younger players.

wcw, not sure what side of the fence you are sitting on.

 

You live in Windsor, you seem to be heaping a lot of praise on Jarvo and Tom Willment and when you speak of a reserve team for Slough you say 'they' rather than 'we'.

 

I would say you are one of the 'few supporters' who follow Burnham and are just trying to stir things up in preparation for when we play them.

On here because Burnham have nothing for a forum. I was following Hitchin and Bury games last tuesday so thought id check out Burnham forum for their game but nobody has posted since November
