Better side first-half and fully deserved to go in at half-time a goal ahead, second-half they score a goal which we should have done better with and it's 1-1. Despite Dean Clark hitting the bar in truth we created little second-half and I thought Marlow were the better side in the second.

 

Disappointing we dropped points, but we won't be the only team to do that in the remainder of the season. There will be lots of ups and downs and unexpected results

we wasn't awful but we were quite far from our best in truth

 

twice Marlow have stopped us playing close to our best so fair play to them

 

bit of luck here or there and we would have won though we should have created more

 

definitely looked like Avery handled in the box yet only a free kick given which was the free kick Clark hit the bar with as far as i can remember

 

unfortunately Burnham and Hitchin did win their home games today making tonight even more disappointing

Why? Hitchin are in pole position and if we were to beat Burnham in two weeks we'd go ahead of them on points with the same games played.

 

 

I would be surprised if you beat them, i don't know your record against the top teams but a draw would be a good result.

 

Burnham apparently finish late on with just 9 Men ! (2 sent off) maybe this will be their achillies heal !

 

Its still a long way to the finishing line... for all clubs...

 

and makes for an interesting run in...

 

But we will need to improve some what on last night's match - but give Marlow their due, they did their homework on us and close us down...

 

remember they only lost to Burnham a couple of weeks ago - one nil to a penalty....

Might be getting sick of hearing it, but they are probably going to win it, they are the best, most solid side I've seen this season at this level.

Burnham are the danger, look at their remaining games.

Another master stroke by Jarvo, letting Tom Willment go to Marlow and start scoring against Slough. Are Burnham still paying him. ( Not really, only joking, well done Tom it was a good finish for centre back )

I dont know about Jarvo having players that would last the course, I bet he wishes he had players that could just stay on the pitch for 90mins!!

 

Joking aside I think Bury will be strong contenders must not forget them.

You could be right, this may be a problem for Burnham. I don't think they have a very big squad.

Glad you can remember what i said earlier in the season. WR i think you will find i said it could be Burnham or Rothwell, Rothwell have had some problems but i still expect them to come good.

You still haven't answered my question what is your record against the top 5 teams in the division ?

Almost forgot this was a Slough message board... reading the above !!!!

 

I am personally , happy we are where we are and yes a few hick ups along the way ...but thats football eh ?

 

plenty of ups and downs yet I guess , but to be given what Slough supporters have sufferred over the last few season...most will be more

 

than happy the way things have gone...SO FAR !

 

A happy rebel here for sure...
