Mr Chairman our 4th goalscorer tonight was Rhys Farley-Hearn, double checked that with George Vale and Tony Last to prove i wasnt going mad.

 

Witham fielded their strongest possible team tonight, 3 players were missing Joyce, and the two Robinson's, but of the players available to Danny this was his strongest team in any of the GBT or League Cup group matches that we have played.

 

Tiptree scored in the 31st minute, Witham equalized on the 37th minute through Nick Emery. 2nd half was only a minute old when the longest serving player scored the best goal of the season for Witham, Tony Walkin who is not a regular scorer scored from the most acute angle he must of been on the goalline, it looked like it was going into the side netting, pure class, the crowd went wild.

 

Bradley Stopher added a 3rd in the 52nd minute and Rhys Farley-Hearn wrapped it up for Witham from outside the area through a body of players in the 87th minute for a comfortable 4.1 away win.
