It was great to see ALL the faithful last night at the Brimobeu. Jim putting all the potential new boys through their paces.

 

Did we miss Clarkee? No I though the goals by Panayiotou and Hepburn were well taken. It is great to see the quality of players that we do attract.

 

It just gets better and better! Come on you town!

I thought that new signing Allan Fenn looked solid and Jason Geraghty made some nice touches/passes....

In my opinion I feel some of the new players were not up to scratch but good to see Jim give them a chance...

 

Some positives taken from last night though...

I have to disagree although the goals were well taken I think any team would miss someone of Clarkee's ability (you can guess I am a Clakee fan!)

I take it that its true then that Daniel C has left us, along with Danny A and Disco David Allen ?
To add to my woes I hear that my all time top man Saint is hanging up his boots.
Can anyone confim the above statements.

I have faith in JC to get us some decent replacements.

We did not look too sharp and there were quite a few new faces but it was first game for the lads so we will have to see how things pan out by the first game of the season.

Great to see Matty Negus & Tommy Morgan making decent runs.

NO falling out. He went and watched training one day and was very aimiable but there comes a point when managers need to know whether you're coming or going so they can ensure we have a team for the start of the season.

 

I still love Clarkee he's a great character and the game needs nice people like him.
