Incredible!

Incredible 1st half performance. Brilliant play from all the lads passing the ball around, keeping it on the ground, leading to plenty of chances which should have been taken. The build up to the 2nd goal in particular was great. Well done for that guys, it was almost like watching Arsenal play...

It must have been an incredible half time team talk from Butler to make his team go from what was their collective best performance into that flat miserable mess that came out at half time...

Incredibly stupid dission from Lacy to make that handball. Your team's 2 goals up, let the ball go in and stay on the field, not get yourself sent off so that they can have a penalty...

There was an incredible lack of drive after that. Why did they not fire themselves back up and continue to play like they did in the 1st half? It was almost like watching Ramsgate play...

Incredible weather too. Where did that fog come from?

Same old story I'm afraid. We are consistently inconsistent. At this rate even Waltham Abbey will finish above us! Starting to become entrenched in relegation zone now. The defence has been awful all season! I can't believe the number of poor goals we are conceding - do we not learn anything! Mr Butler must be wishing he had stayed at Ashford.

First half we were much the better teamand played the best football Ive seen from this particular team play for a very long time, however come the second half we looked just like the team of old. Is it so hard to keep the lead in a game of which we are dominating, or are we on self destruct - cos we WILL be relegated this season giving points like this away....... MB work harder.

as i have stated before someone with leadership qualities is needed at the back , ie some like Francis Duku but i should think 90% of the lads on here said he was to old 5 yrs past his prime would not be good enough for us but as you may or may not no he has lead Kingstonion to 2nd in the league with some great defensive displays . This is the type of player we are so desperate for . The lads we have are ok but thats it no disrespect to them but they need an old head and they want one now , possibly to old heads .

Up the Gate .

wasnt keister that 'experienced head' that we were searching for? not going to comment on y he isnt playin any more as i dont no the details but we were still leaking goals all over the place with him there. i no defence was not his natural position but he has more experience than many other players at this level

Fully agree but we don't have the budget anymore.. at least until the summer when contracts end. TY tied a dozen or so down last summer.

So why has another lightweight like Jones been signed if the budget is not there ?

Is that the most sensible use of any funds available ?

I am sure Jones is good on his day,but in a relegation scrap-don't you need hard headed battlers-not tippy tappy wingers ?

Definately. Sam came on for the latter part of the game, held the ball up well & distributed well too. Also looked to take on players & did so effectively & unlike as has been seen over the red side he didn't (on his debut) look to be a "greedy player" by holding onto the ball too long. This might occur in the future but then again is there anything wrong with having that confidence? I don't think so. Overall I agree, Jones for Taylor looks to be a very a good swop indeed..
