AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Completely believable unfortunately as it happens all too often. Lacy sent off through their first shot on target and the writing was on the wall.

A snippet quote from that forum reads as:

"They came out a good 5 minutes before Stones second half, and responded"

Similar to here. Hendon too were out for 5 minutes before our lads came out for the 2nd half. I don't think Hendon though responded.Rather we gifted them the points from seeming to be happy (again) with a lead & not pushing on. Either we only play when we are behind (today being an exception) or we always think we have done enough once in front.

The players minds & attitude need looking at. Their minds & attitude,90 minute attitude.!!

For anyone wondering why the atmosphere was as flat as a pancake today then thank the three people who complained about swearing at the last home game. Yes, the choir gets the blame as usual. Why do we even bother.

I will also go on record in saying that in my opinion WE should be proud of our CHOIR and the great support they give our club week in week out.

Keep the good work up lads.

Can anyone tell me (just out of interest) what todays attendance figure was? I was guessing at 250 (tops).

I wonder how many of THOSE will be absent on Tuesday. Its time the team did THEIR bit on the pitch & got a result or two AT HOME (at least) otherwise all this fund raising will just be offsetting the fall in gates.

I'll go along with that J. Today when we were two up they raised their voices to try & get the players going but the team (obviously) didn't respond. Shame on them I say (the players, not the choir).

Cheers guys. I'm sure KP is happy in the knowledge that he asked for those who cheer the team week in week out to be reprimanded, yet did nothing about the bloke who said "F*** off Wilson" when a pass went astray. Swearing comes from all sections of the crowd. We're an easy target. Handing out six game bans if it happens again!!

Your attendance watching the game was 297 and Joseba

298 then. Thank you. Not as bad as I first thought. Still more than Ramsgate are getting MINUS yourself Ian :icon22:

How bloody ridiculous its all getting when errand boys are sent to reprimand the hub of the vocal support for the odd swear word a song may contain, when there were fans all around the ground using foul language to express their anger at the entertainment they had to watch. With no action being taken by stewards one would take it that the rules were put to oneside on this occasion. You see far worse and hear far worse on televised matches these days. Some people need to get a life.

As far as I'm aware, the three complaints re: language at the previous home game must have been from the Ashford game (shouldn't think it was the Chatham game, as the attendance was not much above 3 anyway). And, as far as I can recall, there were a lot of positive comments about the support afforded to the team by almost all of us (not just the choir) at that particular game. Furthermore, as we have had complaints in the past, we have censored the songs greatly, and the only 'inappropriate' word I can think of in any song we sing is one instance in 'Everywhere We Go'.

Ill put me tuppance worth in as well and also thank you guys for the support that you show the team. And as for the bad language, there is definately a lot worse that comes from other supporters!! And before I get the comments that thats what happens at all football matches then yes, im sure it does - but im just concerned with our team at the moment - not everybody elses!

I have even been known to join in a few of the songs as well ;) lol

Someone please tell me this is an early April Fools joke, as you all know the majority if fans go to football 1st to watch there team 2nd to meet up with there friends and 3rd to have a sing song with the other fans or to sing to each other ( choir to oaps)

I am gobsmacked

oh and 4th to have a wee dram if you so want to. I am afraid to say that when a few thousand start singing about how bad the ref is at a premier game they will evict those who were swearing, I think not

Up the gate............. and i mean up as in up the league and not how some others may be thinking
